Former Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein is set to return to court for his third trial in New York on Tuesday concerning allegations of rape and sexual assault. Weinstein, who co-ran Miramax with his brother Bob Weinstein for over two decades, faced a wave of accusations following the #MeToo movement in 2017.
After being fired from The Weinstein Company and expelled from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Weinstein was criminally charged in 2018.
