Speculations surrounding the marital status of Tom Holland and Zendaya seem to have some truth to them.
The couple, who first met on the set of the Marvel movie Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, had previously announced their engagement. Zendaya was seen wearing a diamond ring at the Golden Globes ceremony in January 2025.
Rumors about their secret wedding spread earlier this year after Zendaya’s long-time stylist, Law Roach, hinted during an interview on the Oscars red carpet that the wedding had already taken place.
In a recent interview, Holland seemed to confirm to Esquire U.K. that the couple is now married.

Following Roach’s hint about the secret wedding, AI-generated images surfaced online, claiming to depict the couple on their wedding day. Zendaya promptly clarified that these images were fake and even showcased a less sophisticated mock-up on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
During the Esquire U.K. interview, Holland addressed the AI images and whether he needed to reassure family members who thought they had missed the wedding.
While his grandmother needed reassurance, the rest of the family did not, as Holland stated, “No, because they were all there. That’s all you’ll get on that.”
Holland also expressed admiration for the mutual support they provide each other off-screen.
He shared, “Our industry can be very demanding, and having a strong relationship is reassuring. I’ve found my soulmate. She’s my closest companion, and I’ve never felt more content and secure. Period.”
