Rapper and vocalist mgk is set to be the main act at the halftime show during the 112th Grey Cup, as confirmed by the CFL. Formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly, the artist has dropped seven studio albums, including his 2020 album “Tickets to my Downfall,” which achieved double platinum status in the United States. His most recent release, “Lost Americana,” came out in August.
Headlining the kickoff show will be Our Lady Peace, a band that gained fame in Canada in the 1990s with their alternative rock albums “Naveed” and “Clumsy.” Meanwhile, country singer Catie St. Germain from Niverville, Manitoba, will perform the national anthem.
