Actor Josh Hartnett was recently involved in a car accident in St. John’s, N.L., when the SUV he was a passenger in collided with a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) patrol vehicle. The incident occurred as Hartnett was returning home from filming a Netflix show in the city. An unnamed source linked to the production revealed the details of the accident, which took place at the intersection of New Cove Road and Elizabeth Avenue around 1 a.m. The RNC confirmed the collision in a press release, mentioning that both Hartnett and another individual were hospitalized for what appeared to be minor injuries. The RNC is seeking witnesses and footage to aid in their investigation of the crash. Hartnett is currently part of the cast for an upcoming Netflix series called “Untitled Netflix Newfoundland Series,” where he stars alongside actors Charlie Heaton and Mackenzie Davis.
