The 55th annual Juno Awards, marking the climax of Canada’s prominent music week, featured a tribute to Nelly Furtado and lively performances by Arkells, The Beaches, and Daniel Caesar at the TD Coliseum in Hamilton. Notably, Prime Minister Mark Carney was among the attendees.
Similar to previous Juno Awards, this year’s event showcased strong support for Canadian designers and brands on the orange carpet, with artists like Tia Wood, Kardinal Offishall, and SadBoi making bold fashion statements. Various celebrities donned striking black-and-white ensembles, with a sprinkle of vibrant red outfits.

Nelly Furtado, the Canadian Music Hall of Famer, graced the occasion in a strapless brocade gown by Canadian designer Lesley Hampton, complemented by Alexis Bittar jewelry. Sarah McLachlan opted for a black spaghetti-strap floral dress, embracing ’90s minimalism. SadBoi, also known as Ebhoni Jade Cato-O’Garro, sported a custom outfit by Canadian stylist Marc Andrew Smith.

Additionally, Sofia Camara rocked an oversized pinstripe suit, while R&B artist Melanie Fiona shimmered in an off-the-shoulder metallic gown. Director and actor Karena Evans stood out in a sculptural canvas work jacket by Afterhours.
