“37-Year-Old Faces Firearm Charges in Thunder Bay”

A 37-year-old individual is in custody and facing charges linked to firearms after an incident on the south side of Thunder Bay on Thursday morning. Police responded to a call at around 1 a.m. on May and Bethune streets, maintaining a presence at the Tim Hortons on May Street North throughout the day.

According to a police statement, the accused is charged with various offenses, including the attempted murder using a restricted firearm, intentional discharge of a firearm, and possession of a concealed weapon. The individual appeared in court on Thursday and was detained.

Authorities have reported no injuries connected to the incident, and the investigation is still ongoing. A photo shows broken glass in the Tim Hortons parking lot on May Street North in Thunder Bay.
