The event, as stated on its website, aims to celebrate the triumph of the American spirit. However, certain aspects of the U.S.’s birthday festivities, such as attempts to highlight Trump, have faced criticism. These include proposals to feature Trump’s image on commemorative coins, his signature on bills, and his likeness on a special passport.
