Police records reveal 38 reported extortion incidents in Abbotsford between November 2023 and September 2025, primarily involving non-violent tactics such as threatening communications demanding money. Though no injuries have been reported, three incidents targeted homes with gunfire, and an arson attack damaged multiple vehicles at a business establishment.
