A fatality was reported following a residential fire in Cantley, Quebec, as per local law enforcement. The MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais police revealed that a fire was initially noticed by a passerby in a garage attached to a residence on chemin Sainte-Élisabeth near chemin Lamoureux around 10:30 a.m. Subsequently, a deceased individual was discovered in the affected house. Authorities are currently investigating both the identity of the deceased person and the cause of the fire. The incident occurred approximately 16 kilometers north of downtown Gatineau.
