Heading to Hockey Canada’s orientation camp in Calgary, Hannah Miller reflected on her journey, feeling grateful for the opportunity to try out for the Canadian Olympic team. At 29, she found herself back in the mix of the Canadian senior national hockey team, ready to compete at the highest level in women’s hockey.

Despite the challenges she faced, including being deemed ineligible for the Canadian world championship team due to her previous involvement with the Chinese Olympic team, Miller remained optimistic and honored by the opportunity to represent Canada.
Currently, Miller awaits a decision from the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) regarding her eligibility to play for Canada. The situation has left her in a unique position, working towards a team without the guarantee of participation.
