In Congo’s Kasai Province, a total of 64 cases were recorded, including 11 probable cases and 43 fatalities, with 11 of those deaths classified as probable.
The WHO highlighted a positive development, stating that a period of ten days had elapsed without any new cases reported, suggesting a potential control of transmission in the affected regions. This signifies a step towards managing the outbreak effectively.
