“Canadian Screen Awards Week Kicks Off with Children’s TV Winners”

Canadian Screen Awards week has launched with the announcement of the Children’s Television Awards winners in Toronto. The event marked the first of six ceremonies. Among the 16 winners were Josette Jorge for Best Supporting Performer in the children’s or youth category for her role in “The Unstoppable Jenny Garcia.” Will Arnett won Best Voice Performance for “Super Team Canada.” Katie Boland received the Best Direction award for “Macy Murdoch — Tick, Tick, Gone.” Another notable winner was “Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum — I am Jackie Robinson,” which took home awards for Best Writing and Best Direction in the animation category. “Odd Squad” clinched two awards, including Best Lead Performer for Asha Soetan. “Super Team Canada” was recognized as the Best Animated Program or Series. These accolades were part of the prestigious Canadian Screen Awards, celebrating excellence in children’s television programming.
