“Construction Workers in Nova Scotia Grateful for New Work Permits”

Three workers from a construction company in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia expressed their gratitude after receiving new work permits from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Raddy Adams Manicadao, one of the workers, shared his excitement about returning to work after facing uncertainty due to issues with their permit extensions. The men had to reapply for work permits after their previous applications were rejected because of missing documentation from their employer. Despite a challenging waiting period, the workers finally received their new permits, allowing them to resume work on a twinning project on Highway 103. Their employer, Dave Hiscock, played a crucial role in advocating for their case, leading to the issuance of the new permits. The workers, who are aiming to become permanent residents, were relieved to be back on the job and look forward to reuniting with their families in Halifax.
