A’ja Wilson and Jackie Young set a historic record as the first teammates to each score over 30 points in a playoff game, with Wilson tallying 35 points and Young adding 32.
After closing the regular season with a 16-game winning streak, the Aces faced tough challenges from Seattle and Indiana in the postseason. Now, they are set to face the Phoenix Mercury in the best-of-seven championship series opener on Friday.
Despite facing numerous injuries, including Mitchell, Caitlin Clark, and Sophie Cunningham, the sixth-seeded Fever displayed remarkable resilience under Coach Stephanie White’s guidance.
