“Blue Jays Gear Up With Intrasquad Games Ahead of ALDS”

Published:

The Toronto Blue Jays are set to engage in two intrasquad games this week to gear up for the commencement of the American League Division Series on Saturday. The team disclosed that the informal scrimmages will take place over four to five innings on Wednesday and Thursday at Rogers Centre.

During these practice games, Blue Jays players will be accompanied by members of the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons on both days. To accommodate fans, the club plans to open the lower bowl of the stadium for general admission. The $10 ticket proceeds will be directed towards supporting the Jays Care Foundation, as stated by the team.

After wrapping up the regular season with a convincing 13-4 victory against the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday, Toronto clinched their first East Division title since 2015. They are now awaiting the outcome of the wild-card series between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox to determine their ALDS opponent.
