The Canadian Premier League (CPL) is set to welcome a new team from Quebec in 2026. FC Supra has been confirmed as the ninth team to join the league, as announced by the CPL on Wednesday.
The upcoming club will call Stade Boreale in Laval, Quebec its home ground, sharing the venue with the Northern Super League’s Montreal Roses FC. The stadium will not only host matches but also serve as the training and administrative hub for FC Supra.
Owned by Matt Rizzetta, Angelo Pasto, Stephane Tetrault, and Jean-Francois Chenail, FC Supra marks the first Quebec-based team in the CPL. The team recently revealed its name, logo, and colors at a special event held at Complex Multi-Sports de Laval. The logo, shaped like a diamond, showcases red and blue on either side with a white S running through the middle.
Soccer enthusiasts in the Montreal area are anticipating the arrival of FC Supra in the Canadian Premier League, following the league’s establishment six years ago. Despite existing competition from CF Montreal and the Montreal Roses, many within the soccer community believe there is ample space for a third team to thrive alongside the established clubs.
